Met Ott leads the Giants to World Series Title.
Vintage Original TYPE I Photo of Hall of Famer and New York Giants Legend Mel Ott. Photo is date stamped on the back October 12, 1933. This picture was taken just after the Giant won the 1933 World Series over the Washington Senators where Mel hit two round trippers.

You're right, Jimmy - that's the attitude to have. I forget that too often.
Here's a Bain of Opening Day, 1909 at the Polo Grounds. "04/15/1909 - Before an Opening Day crowd of 30,000 at New York, Red Ames pitches a no-hitter for nine innings against the Brooklyn Superbas, surrenders a hit with one out in the tenth, then loses the game 3-0 in the 13th. The Giants outfield has no putouts."
