Without divulging too much info....we have a couple of well-funded bidders who are attempting complete sets. When these guys have completed said sets, who knows what will happen to the value.

as with a lot of sets there always seems to be certain cards which are just a lot more difficult to find...the neil berry 54 for example went for almost the same price this time as last time he had it...with the buyers premium over 10k
that says there are at least 3 collectors or more that needed that card as u have to figure the last winner at 10k didnt bid again...the cards that go for 400 to 1000 are the same players you always see
just like felin franks everyone has whit wyatt and john meyer...
and they go for 2-5k if a robin roberts or richie ashburn shows up they too will sell for well over 10000
you can relate this to psa cards with low pops
a 1978 reggie jckson psa 10 pop of 1 sold for 3300 on ebay with 3 different bidders over $3000 the card books for $6
whats the better buy?
