OK, if you of all people didn't get the reference, the joke has settled, at the bottom of the Mariana Trench like so many others before it, right next to the tree that fell in the forest that nobody heard.
These guys started out in Brooklyn for crying out loud!  And they're huge jazz enthusiasts to boot!As to Winsett, if I recall, his whereabouts were unknown for a short time before his death. I wrote him an autograph request several years after his passing, as we had no idea he was even gone.

Okay, make fun of a guy just because he lives in Brooklyn...I do like Steely Dan, but I never bought one of their albums. You can't have em' all.
