Hmmm...I'm pretty sure Nebraska didn't have a football team from 1942-1960.

For years I didn't know much about these. I did know they had to have been issued for a short time in 1949 because of the others that I have, two of the players overlapped on their respective teams for only about six weeks that summer. Dr. M's guide shows a few that he correctly dates 1949 as well.

I've got a handful of Cubs, White Sox and this one Indian. I've also seen a Yankee although it's been a long time.
