Green no longer owned the team by then, but they kept the name...the new owners were the Beltzer Brothers (Well known amongst Husker baseball fans)...I have little doubt that they ran the team in much the same way that Green did as evidenced by the number of postcards they sold while they owned the team...The Nebraska Indians really went downhill when they sold the team in 1917...of course WWI killed off a lot of semi-pro and minor league baseball teams....they did continue through the 1920's to early 30's, but the Depression did the team in for good.

Nice postcard btw...do you collect the Nebraska Indians?

edited to add: That I believe that Jesse Youngdeer is pictured on your postcard. He was a teammate of Jim Thorpe at Carlisle ...he was a big star in those days so he may be the fellow on the bench with the blanket around him.
