Yes it would be fun to start this baby at .99- but my consignor didn't want to do that. I guess he doesn't like the downside....and I have to state that this is a very important card with true scarcity (this isn't a T206 Cobb or a 1952 Topps Mantle). I would have to think that starting this card at a real inexpensive level- would cheapen the significance of the card. When dealing with consignors they often like to give us a bottom number (i.e. I don't want to sell this for less than $500). ON really great items I have to say o.k.- and I don't like to bid in reserve auctions- so I'm sure many of you don't like to either.... |
