Odd vintage trade card - questions

Thanks Leon! I got it at a good price (less than the written amount on the back. I also cannot stand the fact that most antique ephemera dealers utilize this labelling method), and I did not even realize the 85th anniversary inference until you posted. I really appreciate the information.
