Default PCL Fanchise / Zeenut Question

Posted By: Mark Macrae

Vernon 1909-1912....................Venice 1913-1915.............Vernon 1915-1925.........Mission 1926-1937............Hollywood 1938-1957..............There were two different gestations of the Mission & Hollywood ballclubs. The Hollywood Stars which are linked to the Vernon Tigers would be featured in the 1938 Zeenut set. There are 7 players known from that subset. Earlier Zeenuts (1926-35) which feature Hollywood players are from a different franchise that shared the same name.....A detailed historical review of the Mission franchise will be published soon and on the market later this year. It contains a more detailed explanation of the franchise lineage.
