Tuxedo never issued a set of cards. The ones that you saw were likely made from cutting up a tuxedo tobacco ad from either a newspaper or magazine then pasted onto a thicker stock. A board memeber kindly posted this ad when these same cards came up for discussion a year ago. The ad contained six players, Walsh, Lajoie, Jennings, Mathewson, Mcgraw, and Zimmerman and it proved without a doubt where these "cards" orginated from. |
