I've come across Williams Baking about 3 times more often than Rochester (in fact of the dozen i own only 3 are Rochester) . However this scarcity does not seem to play out in realized prices, which interestingly seems to be the case with d304 backs as well (save the Martens and Weber which DO seem to add a premium)....perhaps the few crazies chasing these 2 sets prefer to have consistent backs and this actually increases the demand for the easier ones.....perhaps they have become so darn hard to find with "any" back that the relative scarcity of the backs does not generate big pricing/value differences. |
