Default Famous T-206 Wagner card

Posted By: JimB

This is where the best condition Wagner resides.

The owner paid $1.26 million for the card graded nm/mt 8 by PSA. I believe there are 3 or 4 in the ex to ex/mt range (all but one ungraded), but none of them have been offered publically in more than ten years. It seems that one of the lesser grade examples are auctioned by one of the big auction houses every year or two. The vast majority of all the real Wagners are in the poor-good range. My guess would be that about 80-85% fall into that grade range.
