Spot-on. PSA's grading standards have devolved by an average of 2 points over the last 5-6 years.... across all grades. No continuity whatsover.

Just IMO, part of it is that there are more and more and more subtly altered cards available, so tougher grading is the only way to keep the pops on the high end down.

Makes sense. Good thing I find myself swimming in the 1’s, 2’s and sometime 3 end of the grading pool.

Thought I would post this as a reference. I sent a box of 5 45-46 Caramelo Deportivos to PSA that were dropped at USPS 10/28, received/logged by PSA 11/10 and get reveals for two of them today 10
11/18. I think they were Regular service. I did have a few values too, so we will see when they get completed.
