Well it sure doesn't increase the value by taking it out of the packet.

I have a couple authenticated cards I got from Greg Morris that I might sell. The packet adds to the provenance I think.

I generally leave it with packaging and auth sticker for no real reason. However I have liberated a few so I can get better scans.

I remove the card and insert it into my set, which I keep in binders. Yes, I keep them in binders so I can enjoy going through them from time to time and admire them.

If the card is graded and goes into my master set, I take a picture of the graded card and insert that into the slot in the set.

With that said, whomever owns the card should do with them whatever they desire. If it's for flipping for a few bucks, maybe keep the packaging but I don't think it enhances the value. If it's for set completion, maybe just add it to the set and throw the other meaningless stuff away.

yea, Ive seen guys take it out, but keep the sticker / holder " nearby " ..not sure it helps anything
