Default Gorgeous card

Card is super nice and a 5 all day long. Seems slightly miscut to me a bit but not enough to get mc designation. Again. 5.

I got an email notice that the card passed authentication and is now on its way to me. I am trying to decide which grader to send to.

Any thoughts on PSA or SGC?

Looks trimmed so PSA or SGC Auth
If the graders don’t believe it has been trimmed then the way PSA has been grading lately you are looking at a 3.5 based off photo only with SGC it would be a 4.5 or 5

Yea - not so fast on the SGC decision - See my current posting on the boards regarding my last SGC submission. Several solid 6s came back as 3s and 4s. I am done with SGC. If I cant bring myself to deal with PSA (in the future) I will probably give CGC or MBA a shot.

My 2 cents worth -

Agree with this. SGC seems to have one grader in particular who is irrationally tough with his grades. My last submission was fine, but the two subs prior to that found 4 cards to be "Authentic".... and all 4 were broken out of PSA "5 or better" holders. In addition, cards that would have graded "5-6" just a few years ago were all given grades of "3-4". Same disappointing experience as yours.

Time to give CGC a try.

Depends on what you want to do with it. Personal collection, either is fine. Resale, PSA all day.

IMO, it does get an A from either grading company. Good luck.

I've handled a ton of T206's. I'd be very surprised if it is trimmed.

Typically, I'm not happy to be wrong. However, in this case, I'm glad my guess of Authentic Altered was off the mark.

Congrats on the 5.

I do agree that pessimism is rampant around here.

You are correct. The grader said the corners are the reason it got a 5.

Nice grade. It's sort of a shame there is so such pessimistic sentiment. But when we've seen so many crap grades it's easy to understand. The reality is, it's almost always a crap shoot.
