I love the 67 design…..

When I put the set together (exmt or better) it was a rush picking them all up, 5th and 6th series had some tuff ones, and with the 7th series….you had to throw book value (compared to sell value) out the window…..great set. Just great.

BUT wait….i wasn’t done yet….i went to crazy town and put together 2 more sets. All coming down to needing Seaver or mantle but that’s the fun part for me with just waiting for right one to pop up. I’m a weirdo when putting sets together and like to pick up an extra 5th and 6th series (sometimes 7th) for my extra piles.

I completed my 67 set in excellent condition after 10 years of working on it in 2005. I had a hell of a time trying to find a center Don Clendenon card. It was fun building that set.

I'm close to completing the '67 set. I recently pick up the Brooks Robinson and Colavito cards. This brings me down to needing only 25 to finish. I will be looking for the Seaver at Strongsville. After that the only big card will be the Mike Shannon.
