While I haven't been to many stores like that I definitely appreciate the aesthetic. I've recently repainted and am in the process of redecorating my office, and I've been looking for cool pre-war hockey photos like that to hang. I was watching a couple nice ones on the last RMY auction but fell asleep and missed them both.

Good luck with the decor Paul, we look forward to seeing when finished. There use to be this elegant bar and restaurant near me that had this same aesthetic with walls lined with pre war athletic photos, most original in vintage frames. The place was the inspiration for my old home office. I use to walk around the place studying what was on the walls, probably disturbing the people eating.😁
