I'll be there!

I'll have some trade bait and $ and am looking to add a lower grade, lower end playing days Ruth to my PC in case anyone has something that fits the bill.

Also looking for a few low grade '35 Goudey 4-in-1's to complete my set:

Cochrane-Gehringer-Bridges-Rogell
Cronin-Reynolds-Bishop-Cissell
Werber-R. Ferrell-W. Ferrell-Ostermueller

I just saw that this one sold the other day for $127!!! Blew my mind. I don't collect that issue, but I thought the price was high for the condition. Had lots of staining.

How pre-war cards can you find for less than $127 these days? And you get 4-for-1!

I don't collect that set so I don't have a frame of reference.

I don't either, Jim. But having gotten used to seeing big numbers for so many cards in the last few years, anything I could actually afford just strikes me as super cheap!

Good Evening Y'all. It was a pleasure meeting some of y'all. I have my video up on my channel. I tried to get everyone's setup, so if I didn't capture it all, I apologize. Did the best I could to provide as much content.

What an absolutely stupendous, fun afternoon with you fellas. So glad I could make the trip again up this year and to spend the afternoon with the best of the best. Already excited about next year and making it four years in a row.

Thanks for posting this video, Sammy. It’s great to look at these collections. I definitely recognized a Net54 member or two by their cards! I may have to try to fly up for the next one.

Fun day, great people, amazing cards and memorabilia. Ryan’s bathroom piece being one of them.

So happy I dropped my stuff next to the group of Cuban/Negro league cards. Made the day even more special taking to Mike and Jim.

Unfortunately was not able to talk with everyone, but more of an excuse to come next year.

Sammy, thanks for posting the video, and very nice to meet you.

In my opinion, this was the best get together yet. Sincere thanks to everyone who came, especially the ones who travelled to get here; in addition to Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, we had visitors from at least Texas, North Carolina, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio. We will definitely do it again next year!

And BTW- this event is 85%++ Andrew. Thanks for all your effort and hard work- it shows!

Thank you to all who came to the event yesterday. The room was filled with amazing cards and awesome people. Additionally, we raised $675 for Wolf Trap Animal Rescue. I will make the donation this week, on behalf of all of us. This will directly lead to dogs and cats being rescued, that would otherwise be euthanized. Thank you all for contributing to this great cause. Also, thanks again to Joe T. and Goldin Auctions for sponsoring the event. Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks Andrew (and Ryan) for hosting a great event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. And thanks to Joe T and Goldin for stepping up to sponsor it.
It was fun meeting a lot of guys who make the hobby so great. And last but definitely not least, thanks to my good friend Dan Mckee for him and his lovely wifes hospitality in having me over. (and for the taxi everywhere)

So happy you all had a great day together yesterday.

Special thanks to Ryan & Andrew for coordinating & inviting us. Thanks to the folks speaking directly & indirectly w/ me leading up to the event (Don, Andrew, Marc, & Matt).

I had the car packed since Weds. Was very excited to attend. Then I was a late scratch due to catching the flu (better to stay home than get others sick).

Hope to see everyone next year.

Tony

Thanks to Andrew and Ryan for putting together the event once again. It was a lot of fun catching up with some hobby friends that I haven't seen in a while and getting a chance to bring down a couple of sets to display this year.

Very impressed by the attendance. The event seems to be getting bigger and better each year!

Love the video...especially cool when I spotted a card I used to own: THE Allegheny Mathewson!

This was my first of these vintage shows and while I wasn’t sure what to expect I can say I couldn’t have guessed how great it would be. Great conversations, very cool show and tell, and cards I never thought I’d get to see. Thanks to everyone who organized, traveled, set up and were so generous with their collections and their time.

Can’t wait to see many of you I met for the first time at future shows and events, and thanks to Leon for continuing to curate such a great community.

I just took a look at Sammy’s video. Holy shit! Y’all brought the heat!
I really hope the work schedule will permit me to get there next year. Looked like a ton of great cards and you could overhear some high quality bullshitting in the background!

That’s my kinda day!

Thanks, Sammy. Great coverage! For anyone interested that doesn’t know, if you go into the settings wheel on the bottom right, you can slow the playback speed. You can get a great look at everything at half or even quarter speed!

Thanks to the organizers for putting together a fun event. No too many events you can go to these days and not hear the words "comp", "Pokemon", or Lebron. Very nice to see and visit many friends in person, and meet several new folks. Thanks to all who organized and attended & hope to be able to come again next year

Default Big thanks to Andrew and Ryan!!

The event to me is reminiscent of grabbing a couple of friends, saying "hey, bring a binder of your best stuff and let's hang out" - then talking about and drooling over each others cards. So awesome to be able to do this as like minded adults!

It was AWESOME! As usual. Great to see some new faces and catch up with some familiar ones!

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

Thanks to Ryan and Andrew for hosting this. Bummed that I missed the first two but very glad I was able to fit some meetings close enough that I could attend. I had planned on staying only a few hours thinking I could talk to a few people I knew and then head back to Ohio to be home almost in time for dinner. Ended up staying a few hours longer than anticipated having a great time talking about cards! Lunch was great, too!

Looking forward to the 2026 version. What a great time!!

Thanks again Ryan, Andrew, and Joe. You once again hit it out of the park.

It was great to see everyone on Saturday! Thank you Ryan, Andrew, and Goldin. I had a great time and it was good to finally meet several long time board members in person.

"hey, bring a binder of your best stuff and let's hang out" - then talking about and drooling over each others cards.
Howard said it all—it was a rare opportunity to look at the amazing “stuff” everyone brought! This was my second year, and it exceeded last year’s. The day was a feast of eye-candy and trying to digest it all was a visual challenge during the few hours we had. That’s why Sammy’s video is an important document—thank you, Sammy, and good to meet you. The conversations were worth the price of admission (free), and will continue for months/years (hello Jamie S).

A few of the highlights for me included having the world’s PCL authority, Mark Macrae, in the room to share his passion and knowledge. Joe T’s latest Mantle piece was breathtaking (I was too shy to ask him for his autograph), as was Dan McKee’s Wajo binder. There were only a few of us with Negro League material but the items Jim C. and Jamie S. shared were incredibly special. Scott M’s Crofts collection may be among the finest in captivity. Etc., etc., etc., etc. Oh, and best prize for display goes to Steve H! Even Leon was there to monitor the goings-on.

Thanks to Goldin Auctions for the hospitality.

But the real genius behind the day belongs to our welcoming hosts, Ryan and Andrew who may be launching new careers as promoters--they do it well! The friendliness and willingness to share they encouraged is a breath of fresh air in a hobby that often lacks the pure joy of sharing our passions with like-minded individuals.

I look forward to next year’s event and hanging out!

Cheers,
Mike

What a great time. The opportunity to see great collections like these and actually have the time and space to talk about them at length is a rare treat. Fantastic to meet some new collectors and reconnect with everyone else. Jamie and Michael, can't tell you how much I enjoyed our Negro Leagues discussions. Thanks again Andrew (85%) and Ryan (15%). Wait, Joe T needs a cut too. Maybe Andrew can spare a couple percent. Ryan, your Negro Leagues photo might have been the highlight. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks to Val K for sharing space with me and continuing my pre war card education. Always a pleasure to talk to the hobby's finest gentleman.

Dan Mckee, on another thread blamed Leon...not sure that was a joke or not. Either way sounds like someone brought more than their cards to share.

Odd, because based on what I see at the National(s) every year, baseball card dealers and collectors are some of the most hygienically conscious people you'll find.
