Default B. Uecker gone

Mr. "Just a bit outside" just passed. Loved his appearances on Johnny Carson

RIP Bob! While a dental student in baltimore...I'd routinely see ballplayers, etc as I lived close to camden yards and would bicycle around the city a lot. One day while speeding by some hotel I see bob uecker waiting for a ride...and I yelled "hey BOB UECKER!!!!" He "glared" at me!

That's my 1 run in with bob uecker!!!

Bob Uecker was one of the funniest people in baseball, bar none. He will be sorely missed.

Lifetime, he had 14 HR's. But he hit 1 off of Gaylord Perry, another off Fergie Jenkins, and even hit one off of Sandy Koufax!

He was the soundtrack to my summers from childhood on. Thank you Mr. Baseball, you made the game come alive and imageable on the airwaves...... and now he's probably up in Heaven....... given 'em Hell

Man. That is sad. Just a bit outside was always hilarious to me. And equally hilarious was what he said right after: He tried the corner and missed. As if it was barely a ball haha. Rip to ueck

I love Bobs '64. And I love 5s that look like 9s.
