That's hilarious, but actually kind of clever. He claims it was in a holder and went through a fire.

Due to it being slabbed in whatever that is, it’s ineligible for eBay’s AG program. Right?

The seller posted 3 youtube videos.

Here's the first, other 2 on the same channel. Along with some of the guys hilarious music.

At least that has to go through authentication. This wouldn't.

This is a new approach. Hey, there's a possible T206 Cobb with it! Unbelievable. Who ever buys it, deserves it and in my book, too bad. If you're stupid enough to bid on it, then you deserve to get ripped off.

I didn't read too much but I'm going to guess the seller is indicating "no returns".

Don't be cruel, guys!!
I, too, suffer from the unbearable pain and loss of having my most treasured card forever unreachable inside of a vicious, melted-plastic prison. The horror!!! The horror!!!

Photoshop, the seller on eBay had to have used an oven because it is a screwdown with screws still in it.

Hmmmm. So are you implying that there may be a credibility problem with this seller?

I wonder if he had that card insured and how much the insurance company paid out.

I would like to talk to the buyer and ask what are you thinking unless no money will be changing hands which is quite possible..

The only thing better would be the Babe's autograph on a Post-It note.

I got a nice response from the seller here, who told me that I shouldn't assume everyone is a "terrible person", before then calling me an idiot. Nice.

What would be even better would be if the seller is a member of Net54 and joins the discussion. beer chug.gif

Looks like somebody took an exemplar found online and tried printing it off on an old receipt with their home printer.

You can see the bumps in the flow like it’s at best a copied image.
