I’ll be there for sure. It was great putting faces to the names from N54 as well as seeing friends from the hobby. Not to mention the awesome cards on display!!

Default How much wheeling and dealing goes on?

I would be interested in how much selling and swapping is happening at the event?

I know it wasn't conceived primarily as a BST event, but if it is to become a "Vintage National" (which would be awesome) that implies buying/selling/trading for sure.

Knowing more about this might help me and others who don't live close by to decide whether we want to make the trip to attend.

Thx!

This event sounding like such a wonderful time last year I was looking forward to the next one! I’ll bring a case or two of vintage and hopefully reconnect with some old Chantilly area friends!

I would say that at this point, although the room may have the feel of a small, all prewar/vintage card show, it is primarily hanging out, talking cards, and showing off collections, with some transactions mixed in. If this continues to grow, it is possible that it could evolve into more of a traditional card show, but that really isn't what it is right now.

I think Andrew's description is on the money but I will add that I have met several people at the event with whom I have subsequently done/are discussing deals. It's a great opportunity to actually get to know folks with similar interests. Big card shows can be a little too hectic to allow for much of that.

This looks like fun guys. I think I might come out to it this time. What do I need to do to reserve a few cases of space, if I come out? Thanks to you guys doing this too. It's appreciated by all.

This is a great point. The networking and introductions are very real and material. There may not be many in-person deals at the show, but the relationships created and strengthened absolutely lead to other introductions and deals down the road.

Default It's on my calendar

A little early to say 100%, but I've been at the last 2 and intend to be at this one.

Cards for sale: https://www.flickr.com/photos/185900663@N07/albums

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.
