After eBay ignored it, I reached out to the seller with the backstory on these fakes, who reported his consigner said he had had them for 50 years. The Gardner photo being included in this thread four years ago proves that is not the case, and the seller subsequently said he will "resubmit it for authentication" and did the right thing, taking them down. Bad as they may be I highly doubt PSA or any other real authentication service will sign off on fakes this bad.

I am sure these fakes will move along to somebody else eventually who will try to sell them and won't do the right thing.

Glad you were able to get them to take them down, though the use of the word "resubmit" strikes me as a little odd.

Guessing they didn't have anything to do with the original release of the fakes, and got taken by a consignor without doing due diligence.

They do seem to have lots of autographed cards in their inventory, though nothing else in my wheelhouse that I could make an informed opinion on.
