Ralph Houk's rookie card was 1952 Topps. His last card was 1985 Topps I believe, I think that's actually on topic, though I'm not sure after reading a lot of the other posts.

Close enough. 58 years from first to last card, wow.

Casey Stengel is pretty close. 1910 T210 to 1965 Topps.

Which means you can get from 1910 to 2022 in just two people, although not continuous of course.

You can get from Old Judge to 2024 Topps in 3 - Connie Mack 1887 OJ to 1940 Play Ball then Ted Williams through to 1971/2 Topps to Dusty Baker who has a card in 2024 Heritage. Not continuous either, but still

i would contend that it cant just be any card or career award,,,the person has to be an active manager or player for the card..

Yup. And those three players all qualify on those conditions. Not continuous as I said, but still cool.
