I ended up with this Robinson from another dealer at a really good price a little trade and cash. Probably not the nicest Signature, not the best job of slabbing by the idiots at Beckett. It does have the ever present "Pinhole" AND LOW POPSICLE which I have come to appreciate. All those contribute to it being sloppy 3rds and making it through the National. I passed on a few other cards I can find everyday and snatched this while it was there cause I liked the dealer and wanted to build some repore,

Got beat up on a couple of other nice cards, including 1 from Ash that he's had a year or better.

Pretty much everything there you always see at these local shows. The few other dealers I know were most definitely buying from Ash too. He must give them better deals than he does me,

That said, I really enjoyed the show. Got there @ 9:00AM, great on site parking. waited in the lobby after checking in and they started to let us in @9:45A. AC working great, beautiful bathrooms everywhere and internet working perfectly.
I'll be back for a quick look around in February.

Confucius say: "He who is always looking at the ground sees nothing but dirt." OMG, that frigging photo is GORGEOUS! Anybody who isn't happy having that in their collection needs to find another hobby. I don't mean you--you sprung for it despite the perceived imperfections, so it must do something for you, but my God, what a beauty!

I do love it, Thanks. I always liked Jackie and even when I collected autographs, I never could find the right one. Certainly wasn't looking for anything like this but nothing else really inspired me at the show for the prices.

When a dealer shot down an even trade (2 gorgeous red man May/Williams with tabs) for a sliced off 59 bazooka Mays, I found these great dealers and table willing to trade and make an easy cash/trade deal. Also, now they have a new customer....The other guy, not so much. AND I have really started to enjoy cards with pin holes these days, that was a bonus!
