It's remarkable what an absolute geezer Cy looked like as an active player. Graig did his usual great job in capturing it.

Haha, true. Though in his defense he was in his 40s at the time of the photo. Growing up on a farm in the 1870s apparently took it's toll.

Amazing pickups! I too like the Kreindler T206 type cards (and the Drysdale looks really nice also). The miscut Ryan rookie is really cool. I can't remember seeing other miscut MB cards so it is really cool to have the Ryan rookie like that. Great Matty postcard and autographed cards too! I also really like the Cobb T206 and Ruth cards.

I could not attend this year but a friend of mine texted me about this thinking I might want it. I am very glad to have it as I really like the look of the players. I think I have seen a few others made of similar material but I do not recall ever seeing this one before. I like unusual 19th century display items.
