Amazing pickups! I too like the Kreindler T206 type cards (and the Drysdale looks really nice also). The miscut Ryan rookie is really cool. I can't remember seeing other miscut MB cards so it is really cool to have the Ryan rookie like that. Great Matty postcard and autographed cards too! I also really like the Cobb T206 and Ruth cards.

I could not attend this year but a friend of mine texted me about this thinking I might want it. I am very glad to have it as I really like the look of the players. I think I have seen a few others made of similar material but I do not recall ever seeing this one before. I like unusual 19th century display items.

Spectacular imagery on that 19th Century figural piece! Can you tell us what it may have been used for, as well as the size? I can't seem to wrap my head around what it is!

Thank you Mark! I do not have it in hand yet as I have to get it from my friend but I think it is 8-10 inches long. I believe it is made out of pressed paper but I could be wrong. I had one with a non baseball scene that advertised a store so I assume this one had more to it at one point but I am not certain. I also thought I saw a similar item in one of the 19th century collections that were recently auctioned (maybe the one in Hunts) but I am not sure about that either. All I know for sure is that I like it.

So great that Satchel got to come up and prove himself even at his advanced age. But it seems like someone should have been able to do better than a mere "1940s" for the year of the photo.
