“Words can't describe how excited I am to be able to bring to market what I believe is arguably the most significant post war baseball card in existence! See the website for more details. The Stahl Meyer cards were distributed in packages of hot dogs! The offered example (along with a scant few others) was saved from the greasy demise by a printing company employee.

Asking price is $2.657 million”

I’d imagine you are. What’s the most that any Stahl Meyer card has ever sold for?

Are you suggesting the images are of the top edge of the same card before and after grading?

It has aways been my impression, from speaking with Brian P., that the 1954 populations are significantly lower than the 1953 issue. PSA pop supports this with #69 1953 Mantles having been graded versus #23 1954 . I'm not sure how this may play in to the comparison with the PSA 8 1954 sale...likely little.
I don't know the value but this is surely an outstanding and unique gem of a card!!

This 1954 PSA 9 Mays sold for $93K less than a year ago.

It will be interesting to see if the Mantle will bring nearly 30X as much as the Mays.
