Great items of one of my favorite players to collect. Scott love the W600 green mount type 1!

I've been interested in George Edward " Rube" since I was a kid and read a book about baseball's zaniest characters. What amused me as a preteen seems tragic as an adult understanding the mental challenges Waddell must have face despite his physical gifts

Rube's parents took him to Mobile Alabama after the 1907 season to be with his sister

I like that the artists for the T3 and T206 cards adjusted Rube's gaze so he didn't look as 'distracted' as he does in the photo.

I’m sure you’ve seen most of these and I know you’re on of the 3 who own the notebook cover since we’ve found out that only 3 were ever printed of each player. But here are some cool items that I’ve been able to acquire over the years of Waddell.
