Here is a photo from 1978 that I found on the internet of one of the Father and Sons shoe stores, this one being near 69th Street in Philadelphia. Looks like that most of the shops on that side of the street were shoe stores.
It is interesting that two of the stamped ones shown each seem to indicate that it came from store identified as #14 on 3126 Kensington Ave...perhaps that was a hotbed of these card's minimal distribution. Brian |
