Francesco Stephen Pezzolo aka "Ping Bodie"

"Ping" for the sound his 52 ounce bat made when it struck the ball, "Bodie" for the town in California where he was born, now a famous gold mining ghost town.

Clarence "Cuddles" Marshall Mainstay of the St. Louis Browns.

and an old name from my hometown Buffalo Bisons hockey team:

Harry Dick

Poor guy lived 80 years with that name.
