-Rome was not built in a day -I will perish this trophy forever -I would like the pie a la mode, but with ice cream too -Stan Musial is one of the all time greats, he is immoral -I remember the name but can not replace the face

Bob had a decent if not spectacular career but after his playing days when the Cubs were losing as usual in the late 50s and early 60s they decided the problem was that one manager was just not enough. So they briefly went to manager by committee and Bob was one of the committee members in 1961. But the Cubs still played like the Cubs and that experiment was quickly eliminated
