Great thread Gary, thanks for starting. Here is an 1895 "Point of Purchase" piece I recently acquired in a trade with a fellow Board member. It doesn't state a date but the book was published in 1895

Default 19th Century Baseball

Great items, all!
Here are a couple of early baseball items that I have in my collection.

An early colorful piece of advertising for a harvesting machine that features a Victorian era pitcher and an 1866 First Grand Annual Ball invite.
Both are fun to look at, for sure...

Here is an 1887 newspaper with a story about Cap Anson and Dan Brothers. The Brothers picture was blurry so I just pictured the Anson.
