Some of the cards were continued with the salutations line, as I understand it, like Ted Williams. Isn’t Newhouser in that group? I didn’t think his later exhibit was a 1948 replacement.

I may be misunderstanding you.

Some of the cards with the “salutations” captions were continued after 1946, some of them for a long time after 1946.

I thought Newhouser was in that group of cards. One of the Exhibit experts probably knows better.

His Exhibit card without the caption, the one you’ve shown here. is a different card, which originated later that eventually replaced the captioned version or possibly printed alongside for a time. Don’t know which, probably the former.

Ernie (well, this is frustrating. I meant to post a Lou Brock alternate rookie card, but got confused and accidentally posted an eighth-year Ernie Banks “card”. I’m sort of stupid, but not that stupid. And Net54 doesn’t seem to give me an option to delete an attachment. Sigh.).

Not sure if you're being facetious (based on the emoji), but edit your post and hit 'Go Advanced.' Once there, under the paperclip icon, you'll be able to hit 'manage attachments' and remove/add whatever attachments you'd like to.

Default Brooks Robinson

Some of the alternative cards I like a whole lot better than their actual rookie cards.

This team issue postcard is the same pose as his '57 Topps card, but it's in the original B&W.
