Yeah, forget the plate, tell me where I can get that breakfast! I've seen pottery with that logo before, but don't know anything about it.

With the S I'm thinking it's college quick look turns up Stillman, and Salem university both of them use Tigers as the name.

I'm sure there are others, especially minor leagues.

I wouldn’t rule out that it is just a generic design and the S could stand for shenango, the maker.

Default interesting

Mine is marked on the bottom "Beamish Glass Ware"....like this one in a February 25th and 26th, 2005 Hunt Auction...If I recall I bought this maybe about four years ago at an antiques mall in Petaluma Ca...and I think I posted it on here and someone said what team it was....but I can't find the post...I'm thinking of calling in the marines on this ...perezfan / Mark Steinberg....for a clear answer...

There's certainly not much info on this china, but it appears that 2 different makers used this same design for Pennant Cafe (which appears to be the common thread here).

The Pennant Cafe was located in the basement of the Sexton Hotel and the adjoining Dixon Hotel (the Kling-Allen Building) in Kansas City, Mo. Apparently the entire restaurant was decked out in Baseball-themed decor. It must have been a sight to behold.

This Pennant Cafe China has been attributed to both Beamish Glass Ware and Shenango Pottery of New Castle, PA. The Shenango examples are thought to be circa 1910, according to an article I found. So perhaps Beamish was a secondary supplier, or both companies were contracted to produce this Baseball-themed china at different points in time.
