I am guessing most of his cards were graded quite a long time ago when standards were more lenient. I would be less concerned about that than if some were not entirely natural. Hopefully that is not the case. But reality being what it is, it would not surprise me. Either way quite a remarkable achievement.

I think the greatest collection in the world is probably Burdick's in storage at the MET or maybe the Fritsch family stuff. Maybe also the OJ authors.

Looks like a Great collection and I wish We all could see it all but what was shown is amazing.

I would love to see all his pre-war cards but what is shown is amazing and the conditions are amazing

Funny when he says he would no 7's in his collection

and funny how he just spreads them out with no care

The LOC also has an impressive collection. The online version is had to use, but they have a good collection.

For those who are both absurdly wealthy and enjoy handling their cards like this, the practical security needs must be an annoyance. I’d be scared to have a tenth of that sitting around.

Yes, the majority of these have been altered, and most were graded back when today's NM cards were given 10s & 9s. But it's still an epic collection that I'd be ecstatic to own. I just choose to ignore the fact that 80% of the value in his collection comes from the holders rather than the cards and focus on how cool the cards themselves still are.

I'm also in the camp of being more interested in rare cards in any condition than popular cards in great condition, but I'm happy to see how much joy he gets from the hobby.
