Are those corners like that possibly part of the design? Because they look both sharp and worn, which doesnt really make sense.

PSA has done a lot of grading horribly off-center modern cards as 10s. That may be a reason why they're getting tougher

I would say the (1956 Topps?) Willie Mays or Roberto Clemente cards shown a couple of years ago with pinholes getting PSA 7s have to be in the discussion, as well as the recent grading by SGC of the T206 Honus Wagner with rounded corners as an SGC 5 EX have to be up there. https://www.net54baseball.com/showth...ghlight=wagner
That's if you don't count the tens of thousands of trimmed cards in number grades just by PSA.
