Man was Pete Rose and Reds great. I played little leage then ( the Ono Mets) and tried to play "ball to the wall" like Pete. There were so many great players on one team that you had to stop what you were doing to watch every at bat

What is all sorts of weird with that poster is the fact that Rose and Bud Harrelson had an infamous on-field brawl during the 1973 NLCS, so if you look at Pete's fist, it gives the illusion he's landing one on Buddy's chin in the background. Holy coincidence, Batman!
