Wade Boggs claims that he once drank 107 beers on a cross-country US flight, which would totally obliterate the accepted record of 52 by some Australian footballer. Boggs is known for his beer consumption so the story has some basis of truth perhaps. Along with that he may have also set a record for most trips to the john.

In 1885, Cap Anson set the NL record with 108 RBIs. It would only stand for one year...

That's a great one!

Derek Jeter's 111 career runs scored in the postseason is the record.

Everyone’s favorite player (in the 1880s), Dave Orr, led the league and set the record with [B]112[B] RBIs in a single season in 1884.

To revive interest in this fascinating and informative thread I would like to present Ed Williamson.

The year after he led the league with 27 home-runs, he set the record for games played at third base at 113.

While playing third base in 113 games in 1885, he also was credited with exactly 113 putouts at third.
