As in the NFL draft, I’m trading up a spot to get this one in a bit early.

Do you know who holds the single season record for sacrifice hits?

The record is over 100 years old (104+ to be exact, but greater than 103).

The man who set this record never knew it for he suffered the ultimate sacrifice when he was hit by a pitch in August 1917 and died.
