So were these cards taken or stolen by the employee and now his relatives are reaping the benefits of this deed. I didn't know employees of Goudey could take home card # 106 Lajoie etc. Wonder what his position was in the company ?

Yes, it's possible an employee took a few penny cards home that he was not supposed to 88 years ago.

I know someone who opened up 32 Upper Deck Hockey cases and he couldn't even pull a single Brett Hull autographed insert and it was numbered to 2500 back then. Definitely some of those employees have an upper hand! Let's get back to the discussion of those logoman and 1/1 inserts. LOL
