Here's another one I've always gotten a kick out. W554 where they couldn't spell. Not my card, but if anyone has one I'd be interested.

Mothers' Bread is a great one, tied with Red Cross for me.
But I love the vibrant red... And this Lajoie has an amazing fiery sunset. |

I have always liked the look of the Tom Barker game cards (it is much nicer than the back of its kissing cousin National Game cards in my opinion). A person could, if squinting the brain at just the proper angle, identify this as an ad back...the back serves as an advertisement for the Tom Barker Baseball Game.
Brian (card back not mine, but surprisingly the front that is not shown is mine. I think I just over-squinted my brain). |

Here is another (very rare) playing card back. I will show the front in the May pick ups thread one I get the card in hand.

Awesome thread and great to see all the advertising backs. Lou Gertenrich is absolutely one of my favorites. Been looking for the Ruth holding bird for years.

Steve Your T215-2 RED CROSS Lajoie is stunning. It isn't often that the condition of any RED CROSS cards are as nice-looking as your's. Here's my one and only RED CROSS card (a T215-1)...... ![]() TED Z T206 Reference . Last edited by tedzan; 04-29-2022 at 09:17 PM. Reason: Corrected typo. |

Here are two of my favorite T-cards of Hal Chase. The T216 is a real "toughie". And, the T213-3 is his last T-card (issued in 1919).

Another game card with a nice 'back'. Of these two 1913 Nap Lajoie game cards, aesthetically I prefer the blue version, which seems to possess a crisper photo image, but the red is nice too.
I like vintage cards...I guess I am not too picky. Blank back cards are some of my favorites. Brian (cards not mine) |
