It has to have the photographers stamp visible, they will not give "Type 1" to trimmed Horner cabinets either.

Thanks Rhys! I figured you'd know. Although it seems pretty arbitrary to me. I thought the point was that they couldn't properly evaluate mounted photos.

I wish Horners were an exception, we have a vintage Honus Wagner that was peeled off the mount and has a 1913 morgue stamp (when it was filed) on the back and it will not be a candidate for encapsulation. If you see any that are in slabs they are usually VERY old or rare instances where Horner added an embossed dry stamp. I think this will change at some point in the future, but for now, that is the rule from PSA as I understand it.
