Peninsula still ok but dated now, stay at the Waldorf! Much nicer and really hot upper deck with restaurant and views.

My work frequently has happy hours on the rooftop bar at the Waldorf. One of the best views in LA and always a phenomenal experience.

Regarding the Beverly Hills card shop, I work in downtown LA and somehow have never been able to stop by. Hoping to skip out of work early one of these days and check it out since I hear so many good things about it.

Yes Justin...I will take MI freeways (and people) any day...but the lodge/75/696 isn't great either at rush hour...and you have 6 months of winter!
