No matter the location you are selling it is all about the asking price on if you sell. If you list at a realistic price they will sell. As already been mentioned ebay is awesome for ungraded pricing. I find cards that sold in similar condition and try to price in the middle of ebay sold prices. I also take around 10% off that price for the fees I no longer have to pay. No clue about facebook groups.

The B/S/T section is also great and if priced right stuff sells. The auction section is still a $hit show at best with one guy making up almost half the listings. They are also listed so insanely high only one out his last 15 have even sold.

100 percent depends on which groups you are in. Many are great, some are not.

Great way to meet friends and engage in the hobby as well.

I do the majority of my selling in Facebook groups. You just need the right group. Noteworthy is that I mainly sell high grade PSA card and (mostly) unopened material, which is pretty easy to move anywhere.

My personal experience trying to do any memorabilia transactions on FB:

--Agreed with Robert that people try talking to you as though you're a clueless rube.

--When you list an item, there are no shortage of people willing to tell you it's worth two dollars and proceed to make such offers.

--When someone else lists their $2 item, it's always for far more than $2.

Facebook groups have been a 95% waste of my time, yet have somehow bumped into a couple of decent folks and made a couple of deals. Most of what I buy on Facebook (Marketplace) has nothing to do with cards or memorabilia, but with patience you can find good deals on shipping and storage supplies!
