Couldn't agree more. Almost turned it off before it started being forced to watch a maniac screaming at the top of his lungs (this is a movie star ???) like it was a Professional Wrestling show. I know I'm getting old, but thank the powers above for the mute button.

A movie star who oddly began his career in.... pro wrestling!

It's hard to take the surrounding show stuff seriously, but for me it's the moments where it's obvious they're pulling a milli vanilli. Like when the guy was "playing" the piano but there were parts when he was not even moving.

HaHa, yeah. I love seeing that in every Super Bowl show. They might spend 40 billion dollars on the halftime show...but they sure as hell ain't wiring up the backup band to actually play real music.

I weirdly liked The Rock schtick. Cheesy as hell....but that's what this whole spectacle is to begin with. Capital Cheese!

At least he wasn't selling crypto.

I actually think a WWE Royal Rumble match would be far more entertaining than any halftime show I've watched my entire life! Would love to see an older Ric Flair pumping the crowd up!

Regarding the game, I'm a diehard Bengals fan and I thought both teams played lousy. Burrow has been hyped waaayyy too much (seen his card prices lately?) and never could get things going. I may be an odd cynical millennial but I think his "swag" is a veneer and I'm shocked more people don't see right through it. He's a solid quarterback with some extremely talented targets to throw too. The Bengals o-line is obviously terrible but he never seems to adjust for it. I definitely want him to do well but I would say he's probably the 9th or 10th best QB in the league right now and certainly doesn't warrant Brady comparisons yet.

Arnold was a beast, as was Von Miller. Cooper Kupp was impressive as always. Stafford was as mediocre as ever but will get a ride on the hype train by numbskull reporters all off-season. The Bengals D is one of the most underrated in the league and showed up to play yesterday. Mixon played well and should've got more touches. The refs weren't great but had bad calls on both sides to cancel them out of the equation. I think neither team is back in the SB next year but I think the real shocker will be the lack of success for the Rams next year. Kupp is at his peak, Stafford is and will always be IMO a so-so quarterback, Arnold may be retiring, and Von Miller's a FA.

I'm assuming you mean Aaron Donald? I haven't heard anyone call him Arnold, unless that was on purpose as a nickname.

I think the betting was -4 Rams and +4 Bengals. If that extra point was good everyone would have lost to the casinos.

This Super Bowl thing is getting to be like a wrestling show. Not for me. Halftime is usually leave the room time, glad I did this time.

Haha, yeah that almost sounds like some type of butchered portmanteau. Thanks for catching that lol. I've always had a hard time with people that have two first names and I can't even get a single one of them right!
