I walked from the Claridge every day at the last show and didn't have an issue. The convention center is like 4 blocks from the boardwalk and less than a mile. Just be smart. If you can join another group that is walking and stick to going through the outlets and not down random side streets.
________________________________ Good advice ^^^ My friend and I walked from the Tropicana last time. The distance is certainly manageable for most people: maybe a mile or two. Best to stick to the busier streets and walk with others if possible.
