It’s curious to me why the grade would not have MK listed… could the original grader have requested no modifiers and maybe that bumped it down from a higher grade + Mk to its final grade of 2 with no qualifier?
Either way, it’s the center piece of my HOF collection! Thx for the input (although that original price sold at auction hurts me a little! Wish I bought it then!)

To me it looks like a missed marking.
And it also appears to be an arrow indicating the direction of swivel in Babe's swing. Brian

If you zoom into the fence, back right, looks like some light pencil marks there too. Also a light line left fence, and one to the left of his feet. All very subtle, none are distracting.
