Right on, Scott.
Since I am virtually "out of the ball game" where collecting vintage is concerned, and MUST be very careful what I spend, I have had some opportunities slip through my fingers that, frankly, I don't like to think about. I urge you to keep a paper/ cardstock list of cards you've thought long and hard over that you still want. When one becomes available for a price that won't give you buyer's remorse----get it!
Seriously, there's one I missed this year that chances are will never return. Just as McHale's Navy nemesis, Capt. Wallace B. Binghampton, would say, "I COULD JUST SCREAM!"
If memory serves, one time 'ol Leadbottom did scream.
But we're gettin' close to home, aren't we, bro. Hang in there. I wish for you a couple good surprises by year's end.
