After I read this thread, I said to myself, "I've always wanted this book."
A first edition goes for about $400. UGH. I found a copy on AbeBooks from a dealer in South Africa, the home of baseball. The dealer wanted $19 for the book and $40 for postage. I figured it was worth a shot. I'll know in about a month as that water takes a long time to cross. lumberjack
