I get super excited seeing people do 2 things: 1) discover how fun it is to collect / learn how deep you can get lost into collecting and 2) having existing collectors discover how amazing old baseball/cards are. I'm constantly amazed at how little love pre war gets. In my mind, there is so so so much more to get excited about in history compared to the new stuff. With all that said, I do know that shedding light on cards can certainly have an impact on values, (and certainly would love to see my cards increase in value!) but no, that isn't why I write.
