I feel the most overlooked movie of all time is Slingblade. Powerful movie, great acting. Billy Bob is genius.

Many movies I like won't make many lists of all time greats.
Many I used to really like have aged poorly.

Shogun Assassin.
Lightning Swords of Death- This and the above are cut down from six Japanese movies centered on the same main character. The originals are a bit more harsh than the cut down for the US market versions, which mostly include the comically violent fight scenes with little background.

They Live
Pale Rider. (and most other Eastwood westerns)
Slapshot
The wraith
Predator 2 - Not as good a movie as the first, but it develops the predators so much more, their "rules" and morals etc.
A Sunday in Hell - cycling documentary about Paris Roubaix one year in the 70's.
Buckaroo Banzai
The Great Race
Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines

Anyone who enjoys gambling/casino/sports betting movies should check out "The Runner" (1999), with John Goodman and Ron Eldard.

It's probably the best modern movie on those subjects ever made, but somehow it's stayed in complete obscurity
